Marcus Wareing is an English chef, born in Churchtown, Lancashire. He is currently Chef Patron of Pétrus at The Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge. Before The Savoy Hotel closed for refurbishment Marcus was also Chef Patron at The Savoy Grill on The Strand, London. Marcus lives in South London with his wife, Jane and three children.
Marcus is the author of How to Cook the Perfect and One Perfect Ingredient (publishing April 08) and contributing author to The Cook's Book, Cook Simply Everything and Knife Skills (out April 2008)
